Twin Star Development was founded on a mission:
to improve the lives of our nation’s seniors.
Whether the need is independent living, assisted living or memory care, Twin Star fulfills this purpose by planning, developing and building exceptional senior living communities throughout the continental US. We work hand-in-hand with our operating partner, Sunshine Retirement Living, to ensure our properties are designed and built for beauty, high quality, safety, and operational efficiency. Most importantly, our communities are places for residents to create memories, celebrate relationships and call ‘home’ for years to come.
Luis Serrano, President and CEO, is also co-founder and CEO of Sunshine Retirement Living, our operating partner. In addition to a diverse background in corporate development and real estate development and operations, Mr. Serrano holds an M.S. in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad Politecnica de Madrid, Spain, and an MBA from The Anderson School at UCLA. He is also a licensed California Real Estate Broker. Mr. Serrano is focused on corporate strategy and development, acquisitions, strategic partnerships and special projects.
John Bosse, Vice President of Construction, brings an extensive background in construction, maintenance, and property management to Twin Star, with a specialty in multi-use memory, assisted and independent living community construction. Among other accomplishments, Mr. Bosse constructed 14 communities across multiple states and implemented new construction methods that reduced project costs, decreased budgets, and facilitated construction schedules. John holds a B.S.C.E., Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree from Michigan Technological University.
